Pens looking to make it eight wins in a row.
Conklin going for an undefeated record of 9-0.
The Penguins are tied for fourth in the Eastern Conference, while the Lightning are currently eight points out of playoff contention in last place.
In the last 12 meetings against TB, the Pens are a horrific 0-12.
Penguins have been outscored 50-18 in the last dozen meetings.

Nah, Staal has one goal. Sykora has the other. Come on now...two goals for Staal? ;-)
They got hammered pretty good in the first period with shots but Conk was able to keep everything out. Then in the second the Lightning scored amidst Conk flopping around all over the front of the net.
Sykora netted one on a beautiful shot, and about 2 minutes later Staal slammed one in from in front of the net.
That brings us to where we are..

It was St. Louis' stick. My bad about Staal. Pens website has Staal with both goals. BS penalty for sure though.

I guess they did give the first goal to Staal. My bad. Although Sykora took the shot, the official score sheet has it as a redirected shot. It didn't look it, but it was tipped with the shaft of Staal's stick.
