by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 9:39 PM EST up reply actions

Forgiven

Hahaha...was doing the same! 3 goals in 48 sec??? Get'im Malone!

by kellyfisher on Jan 3, 2008 9:42 PM EST up reply actions

Malone with the KO!`

But the Ruutu fight was much better

by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 9:42 PM EST reply actions

Agreed

Muuuuuuch better! Probably one of the best hockey fights I've seen in YEARS!

by kellyfisher on Jan 3, 2008 9:44 PM EST up reply actions

By the way

Welcome to the site, and thanks so much for stoppin in.  Be sure to post a diary from the main page with a lil bio and let people know a lil more about ya.  Include your favorite Pens moment (aside from this obvious one)

Can't wait

for Talbot to get back in the lineup.  Fleury should just take his time.  A sprained ankle is a pretty bad injury for a goalie, and we seem to be in good hands with Conklin who will be 6-0 after this one.

by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 9:55 PM EST reply actions

Oh man

They set him up so perfectly

by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 10:04 PM EST up reply actions

Absolutely Agree

There is no need to rush Fleury. Conklin looks really good. He has a shutout already, right?

by kellyfisher on Jan 3, 2008 10:08 PM EST up reply actions

Yup

His first shutout of the season came against the Sabres the game before the Winter Classic

by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 10:11 PM EST up reply actions

wee hoo

Hey Frank, me Steely here.  Had dinner with the inlaws, looks like I missed all the fun

by PensFan024 on Jan 3, 2008 10:04 PM EST reply actions

No prob

Thanks for coming by man.  I'll be doing this up on every game.  The Malkin Hatty!  His first ever...you'll have to see the highlights

by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 10:07 PM EST up reply actions

FYI

Malkin (3), Kennedy, Sykora and Christensen

by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 10:09 PM EST up reply actions

Ruutu

I caught the Ruttu fight on a small TV at the Bar.  Who else got into a fight?

by PensFan024 on Jan 3, 2008 10:09 PM EST reply actions

Malone

He smacked down Bell I think.  Not too sure who the Leaf was.  You remember Kelley?

by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 10:10 PM EST up reply actions

Not sure about Malone but...

Ruutu and Tucker sqaured off.

by kellyfisher on Jan 3, 2008 10:13 PM EST up reply actions

yeah

Just lookin at the boxscore.  It was Bell.  Some decent shots back and forth but Malone put on the finisher.

by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 10:14 PM EST up reply actions

Malone

Malone...not nearly as good though.

by kellyfisher on Jan 3, 2008 10:10 PM EST up reply actions

Pens Win WIN WIN

6-0 for Conklin, 5 straight for the Pens...their longest streak of the season

by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 10:12 PM EST reply actions

Now all the Pens have to do

Is win some division games.  That's gonna really come back to bite them in the pads when it comes down to playoff contention

by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 10:13 PM EST reply actions

Ruutu

Ruutu gets a bad rap for not fighting, but that was a fight for the ages.  Tucker is no lightweight.

by PensFan024 on Jan 3, 2008 10:15 PM EST reply actions

Yeah

And if you stop by the Leafs blog PensionPlanPuppets PPP even interjected his own opinion on Ruutu.  Funny that we were able to smack down their boy Tucker

by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 10:18 PM EST up reply actions

Malkin

I've never heard malkin talk before.

by PensFan024 on Jan 3, 2008 10:16 PM EST reply actions

Malkin

Just learned a lot more English this past summer.  He apparantly did so through a tutor and watching movies.

by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 10:19 PM EST up reply actions

Anyways

Thanks so much for stopping by guys and be sure to stop by for more open threads.  Also since you made a name, be sure to post a "diary" on the main page that includes an introduction, a brief bio and whatever Penguins story you'd like to talk about.

Have a good night friends...

LET'S GO PENS!!

by FrankD on Jan 3, 2008 10:25 PM EST reply actions

Be Back Soon!

Now that I know you will be doing this for most if not all games...I'll be back! Thanks Frank!

by kellyfisher on Jan 3, 2008 10:59 PM EST up reply actions

Yup

I'll be doing it for all games.  I hardly miss any but if I do hopefully you guys can do it up without me.  At the least there will DEFINITELY be an open thread for all to play with.
