Penguins vs Panthers Open Thread

VS

Penguins (23-16-2) vs Panthers (19-20-3)
In Florida at 7:30
Watch on FSN/Center Ice or listen at WXDX.com

Notes

The Pens versus the Panthers series certainly seem to favor the Panthers.  The Penguins have an all-time win percentage of .358 against the Cats.

Max Talbot is doubtful for a return to the lineup tonight, as he left practice early the other day with a sore back.

Ty Conklin is looking to go 8-0, while the Pens are hoping to win their seventh straight.

A Pittsburgh win and a New Jersey loss puts the Pens at the top of the Atlantic.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOALSSS!

Looks as thought they're becoming a better 2nd period team, eh?

Sure are!

Three goals in less than three minutes.  These guys are playing with such intensity.

Right

Yeah ok, try and find another goalie in the league this year who has won seven in a row while still remaining undefeated

Devils

Heading into OT.  If they lose they get one point, and the Pens will be tied for first after this game is said and done.

Bah

So much for the shutout.  Sydor screened him.  Oh well, it's still seven straight.
