NOTES

Matt Cooke may be out tonight with an "undisclosed" injury.

Evgeni Malkin wants a goal - I can feel it.

Looks like Crosby, Dupuis and Satan are on the first line.  Don't know why, but Fedotenko gets the demotion to line three with Talbot and Kennedy.  He is a bit more physical than Satan, but I'd rather have Fedo up top...

Rest of the lines here

11 for 11 on the PK…. That’s pretty good

Agreed. If they can’t get it done on the PP, might as well do it right on the other side of the puck.

I’d say there have been more chances for the Caps so far. Fleury looks like he’s just barely sliding into position in time on some of those close calls.

That was more lucky than good, but I’ll take it!

Atta boy Malkin! Let’s make that 2/3 on the PP so far! Nice to see everyone taking shots on goal.

Just sayin… ;-)

After one period

It seemed to me Pens came out a little flat, or sluggish. Only for about the first seven minutes. But they seemed to be having trouble against the forecheck getting through the neutral zone. Then they didn’t really do well at maintaining control in their own end. Luckily the Goligoski goal energized them.

What were the goals like?

I love seeing that we have scored two power play goals at least.

How much is Center Ice?

Gogo scored first on a lucky goal that kinda dribbled between the pipe and the goal, but it was a nice look by Gogo. Malkin just teed off on a rebound from between the circles. It got slightly redirected by a Capital, and went in five-hole.

Ill take it!

It would be nice to get a regulation win here.

How about this powerplay?

Looks like she’s starting to click these days.

I hate watching on the scoreboard page of ESPN

Just saw that Satan scored too.

That was quick!

I’d give Bissonnette a KO!!

Anyone still here?

Please don’t blow another 2+ goal lead.

Still here… Just in slight shock. Plus I was watching The Office…

by TrueBluePSU on Oct 16, 2008 9:44 PM EDT up reply actions

I don’t get it. The pens are bookending a great middle of the game with shitty playing at the beginning and end.

by TrueBluePSU on Oct 16, 2008 9:53 PM EDT reply actions

Shit, that’s a goal.

by TrueBluePSU on Oct 16, 2008 9:53 PM EDT up reply actions

I cant believe they actually blew that

At least I still have the Office to look forward too.
