Scouting the Enemy: Buffalo Sabres
Record:9-4-3
Leading scorers: Thomas Vanek (12G, 3A, 15pts), Jason Pominville (6G, 6A, 12 pts)

The Buffalo Sabres were beat down pretty good last night by the Columbus Jackets in a 6-1 loss. Former Penguins Patrick Lalime started in net and was completely lit up by Steve Nash and co. No surprise that the Sabres would keep Miller rested up for the Pens match tonight. Let's hope it doesn't work in his favor.
Thomas Vanek is the goal scorer you want to keep an eye on tonight. His 12 goals lead the team, although he has been on a three-game pointless drought.
Although Ryan Miller sat out last night's game, he is carrying an impressive 8-2-2 record on his shoulders.
Considering the Pens' ability to send games to OT, it's interesting to see the Sabres are 3-3 after regulation, 2-2 in the shootout. But hey, here's to hoping we actually see a game end in regulation tonight.

haha yes, winning a game without giving us a heart attack would be a welcome change of pace.
If Vanek is kept off the score sheet, and we don’t blow yet another early lead, I think we’ll keep our hot streak going.

I’m looking forward to it, I actually met another pens fan last night and we are going to watch the game together, yeah I don’t have to cheer all by myself way up and over here.

On the bright side of things, when the Pens do send it to OT it often results in a win. But yes, I agree, no heart attack tonight.
