NOTES
Get your SPG picks in for a chance to win a Penguins wall clock courtesy of Carrolls Cove.
Looks like Dupuis will be skating down on the fourth line with Ziggy and Godard. On paper that looks like a solid line. Let's hope it holds on the ice.
I wanna see the Fedotenko/Malkin/Sykora line really click tonight. Everyone knows what the first line can do, but let's see some life from Line Two as well.
Ryan Miller is 2-4-2 against the Penguins in his career.
Pittsburgh has won their last four meetings against Buffalo.

I don’t get why they used Teenage Wasteland as the song but I liked the video intro.

I watched it on mute because I was listening to Jackson Browne and I didn’t want to turn it off. It didn’t go well with Jackson Browne’s acoustic album either.

I like these blue uniforms. Although they aren’t quite as nice without the falling snow.

I agree. I’m a fan. But the least Mellon Arena could’ve done was drop some artificial snow from the rafters.

Maybe they’ll tire themselves out. We can always hope. The Pens haven’t been handling the puck great in their own zone or the neutral zone.

Very boring first period here. All things considered it should be 2 or 3-0 Buffalo

Or better yet, Fleury and Miller just shoot at each other while the other guys stand by the bench and watch.

I don’t know – Hextall was pretty good at it, Marty Brodeur too. But Fleury has taken a few chances at an open net and I wouldn’t be surprised if he nets one eventually.

Unfortunately not. Today I went through the usual, “I hate everything I wrote and am starting over” phase – which was fun. It was pushed back from Wednesday to Friday though – so I have time.

This was a particularly bad case – I really started over, right down to changing the poems I’m working with. Usually I erase a paragraph or two, but this time I really went back to square one. It’ll come together though, they always do.
