Nothing more on this than the typical undisclosed injury, but apparently Fleury was injured in Saturday's game against the Sabres and will not play against the Wild tonight. Despite being injured he still finished the entire game - so no room for serious concerns, I'd say.
It's kinda ironic too, because last year Niklas Backstrom was injured in the Penguins 4-2 win over the Wild. I guess neither team is destined to play their starting goaltenders against one another.
On the Penguins' site, Michel Therrien said:
"He's not going to play (Tuesday)," head coach Michel Therrien said. "It's not a major injury but we don't want to take any risks. That's why we want to be really cautious with his injury."
I'm just going to take that as a sign that it's a slight strain/pull and leave it at that. It's definitely not the best of news for a team that is looking to win their seventh straight, but Dany Sabourin has given no reason to have doubt. I'm confident Sabu can pull through.
