NOTES
Get your SPG picks in for a chance to win a Penguins wall clock courtesy of Carrolls Cove.
As mentioned earlier, Dany Sabourin will be in net over Marc-Andre Fleury tonight.
Boucher debuts with the team tonight. Looks like he's getting paired with Alex Goligoski. Evidence shows concrete lines and pairings don't exist in Pittsburgh anyway, so whatever works.
Marek Zidlicky makes me uncomfortable. He's as offensive as a defenseman can get. I hope the Pens play a disciplined game tonight and keep his shot away from the power play.

Pens gotta get the lead early here and make the Wild play their game.

Zidlicky = deadly. Can’t let him shoot. He’s right up there with Sheldon Souray

Just in, who’s hot who’s not, I have bad feed but watching on mute and listening on radio, so I deal.
Well the only goal scored against the Pens had a weird bounce. It came off the faceoff that the Pens won and skipped right past Sabu.

And as for the Pens, Cooke scored on a Jordal Staal shot. Since then it’s just been back and forth with a few minor chances. Backstrom looks like the better goaltender right now.

haha the blood doesn’t both me so much as when I watch them pick up their teeth. I saw Brendan Shanahan do that one game last year and it made me cringe.

I showed pic of cake to boy and he wants me to make him Flames one for his birthday this weekend, I have a lot of skills, but really, amazing.
I’m purchasing cake. From what I saw newbie seems to be alright, right handed shot is cool.
Well take a pic. I’d like to see it regardless.
Boucher had a pretty solid string of shot blocks earlier in the night. They’ve been using him on the PP and the PK. Definitely looks like a good fit for the special teams.

Yeah it’s pretty lame. But Sabourin has to know when to roll with it and when to let the defensemen take it.

Staal is getting a real beatdown tonight. You missed it, but he actually dropped the mitts before. He three threee punches and the other guy didn’t do anything. It was pretty pathetic but at least he showed up.

I heard it while listening, fights just aren’t the same on computer radio, and yeah, he is taking a lot.
I agree. My Center Ice was out one game last year and I felt like it was the early 1900s and I was listening to a Rocky Marciano fight on the radio.

Crazy, how is it that they do this, almost everytime, do they lead the league in most non-regulation play?
Dear Pensburgh
Fantastic Game…You had us on the ropes, Best of Luck for the rest of the Season and Hopefully we will see you in the playoffs.
Sincerely
Hockey Wilderness.
Thanks man. Nice change of pace from what we see in the East. There’s a definite difference on both sides of the ice and it was nice to see it for a night.
