Boucher deal will pay dividends for Pens
The Hockey News' John Grigg's say the Boucher-Sydor deal WILL (not might/could/may) pay dividends for the Pens. That sounds like confidence to me, and I'm going to hold him to that.

The 6-foot-3, 218-pounder immediately becomes Pittsburgh’s No. 2 defender. He’s big, burly and not afraid to throw his weight around, but he can also score. His best season was 2006-07, when he tallied 19 goals and 51 points and finished with a plus-2 rating, while regularly playing the point on the power play and earning a place in the All-Star Game.

I think that quote says it all. I was surprised to see that Grigg’s thinks Boucher will be our #2. I assume that obviously means #2 until Whitney and Gonch come back, but still impressive none-the-less.
I read that same line and felt the same way. But judging by some of the pairings heading into tonight’s game, they’ll probably use him on the second PP and the third line D-pair. We’ll see though. I’m pretty excited to see how this works out.

I’m still a bit torqued you guys got a solid defenseman (unless his injuries have really done him under) in return for one who wasn’t even playing. That’s it, I’m filing a grievance.
