Marc-Andre Fleury back in net tonight.

Fedotenko back too from whatever mysterious injury impaired his play.

Man, typing up reports/returns from injury is cake nowadays...

"Something happened, it's better, here he is."

Let's go with some score predictions predictions in the comments.

I’m thinking 4-2 Pens, but I’ll even go as high as 5-2.

That’s a bold, confident prediction there Frank. I like it.

I’m feeling it tonight. I’m thinking we’ll see the offense turn it up. Fleury’s return should hopefully spark a little fire into the guys knowing they have him back there keeping things locked down.

Definitely not. He’s under a lot of fire early.

It looks like you were right. MAF is instilling confidence in me to start the game. Hopefully he is doing the same to his teammates.

How do they differentiate between a shot on goal and a scoring chance?

by AngelaMc on Dec 18, 2008 7:58 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

or what is the difference/ a scoring chance?

by AngelaMc on Dec 18, 2008 7:59 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

ugh, same ? twice, what is considered a scoring chance, I need sleeeeep.

by AngelaMc on Dec 18, 2008 7:59 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Good question, i’m not sure. A shot is by definition a shot on goal. I’m assuming a scoring chance is either a shot that misses the goal. OR, someone makes an objective determination of what they consider a good chance to score is.

by JDMaker1 on Dec 18, 2008 8:01 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Actually, that should be a subjective determination not objective.
