Sabourin vs Lundqvist

The good news on Fleury: He's skating in practice again
The bad news on Fleury: No word at all on the severity of whatever injury he has

I say one to two weeks till he returns, based entirely on no fact whatsoever.  Call it blind optimism.

That was huge hit by Letang. Looks like it might have hurt him more than Voros though.

by Dayna on Dec 3, 2008 7:21 PM EST reply actions

I agree, but he’s really been laying the hits on this season. At least the offense is looking alive tonight too.

I used to listen to a lot of games on the radio – Mike Lange always has something good.

by Dayna on Dec 3, 2008 8:17 PM EST up reply actions

yeah, he always makes the blooper/highlights shows, so I know who he is, but I didn’t realize I was listening to Lange until after that goal….

I finally finished reading Saved this weekend while I was out of town. (I’ve only renewed it twice – quite an accomplishment).

by Dayna on Dec 3, 2008 8:56 PM EST reply actions

did you like it? It was just one of those feel-good sorta novels, ya know?

Follow the Penguins on SBN @ Pensburgh.com

by FrankD on Dec 3, 2008 8:57 PM EST up reply actions

To be honest when I started it I wasn’t really into it, but by the time I got to the end I was sold. It was a fun read, and a great distraction from some bad turbulence. It wasn’t really my usual novel (ie: Jane Austen) but it was a good change.

by Dayna on Dec 3, 2008 9:04 PM EST up reply actions

I agree. A good way to cleanse the pallet. I’m currently reading Silence of the Lambs, so really the two don’t compare at all.

My list of Christmas trip books is getting ridiculously long. Luckily I have about 10 hours of travel time. I’m reading only like mystery novels, chick lit junk and things written this decade. (Know any good mysteries?)

Hopefully they aren’t serious injuries. Fingers crossed.

by Dayna on Dec 3, 2008 9:11 PM EST up reply actions

Obviously I’m not advocating the idea of the Pens not putting pressure on, but they have to work the clock a bit too.

As a sidenote the 67s do that fairly often at their games as well. Now I’ll have to associate it with the Rangers… thanks for that.
