haha he was just doing his job I guess. Even still he killed about a good 10 seconds off that penalty. Then again he made the penalty time 1:50 longer by going to the box himself. Pens win in the end.

Regarding this intermission story: Gretzky’s numbers were insane during the 80s/90s, but do you think if he were playing now those would be absolutely ridiculous with the new obstruction calls?

too much, but at the same time your play would develop or work with your current surroundings, so don’t you think that his style would be different from the newer style?
I guess so, but Gretzky was always good at avoiding hits and keeping his head on the proverbial swivel. I think he’d score upwards of 150-175 points a season in this league – and consistently.

can he be fired? not that i’m saying he should but as an/ the? owner is there somebody in a position to fire him, if needed?
I don’t know. I’ve actually wondered that myself. I mean, I guess he could be sueded to step down if the going got tough, but at this point things aren’t looking good in Phoenix. I read earlier today that the Coyotes may likely lose $30-$35 million this season.

Sykora/Sekera is really confusing me tonight. I just thought the announcer had terrible pronunciation, until I realized it was two separate players. (That’s especially sad considering how many times we’ve already played the Sabres this season.)
Finally! Now maybe since he’s got this first one he’ll just open it up and start pouring on some more! I imagine the first of the season is the hardest to get.
Hah even Orpik scored before him. I’ve read the team makes fun of Letang constantly – he’s like the punching bag on team bus rides. I bet Orpik had to have mentioned that at least once. “Tanger, even I scored before you.”

Geez!! Can’t really blame them for that, they were taking good looks and good shots. Just a stellar job by the Sabres
I only blame that one pass from Sid. Should’ve shot it, Miller stumbled a bit coming across the crease. Other than that I agree with ya – Buff did a great job.

Ok, thanks, I’ll check it out at the intermission. This feed actually isn’t too bad. I’m in a dorm at college and it’s the last week of finals, I imagine a lot of people are using the internet.
Whoops! I actually “misspoke” It’s our last week of classes. Our finals week, just one, is next week. Do you mind if I ask where you go?
I go to school in Ottawa. Our classes ended last Wednesday, but we have exams scheduled until the 22nd.
Wow, that’s one hell of a finals period! I’m kind of glad we only have a week of them. I’m at Penn State.
When I was in school classes ended around the 14/15th and finals lasted till the 22nd.

That’s close, but I think just the first part is usually more like what happens. IE, we make a compliment to Sabu, then he messes up.
Hahaha, I never consider myself to be superstitious, except when it comes to hockey! It’s crazy what this sport does to fans. I grew a play-off beard last year, for heaven’s sake!
Well, it is a little different for you, isn’t it? I am making the assumption that you are female, which I think is pretty safe.
