They certainly have been keeping me busy, haven't they? Just two days after the Orpik snoozefest brawl, another one breaks out with an old favorite.
Ryan Malone is second only to Georges Laraque in number of fights this season, and he's certainly gotten better as the season goes on. There have been several where he's gotten his pads handed to him, but this wasn't one of those times.
15:41 in the first (a lot of 1st period fighting, it seems), Malone drops the gloves with David Clarkson, and compared to the fight of a couple days ago, this is PPV boxing. Sure after a couple hits, the action slows down as both try to get the other off their skates, but Malone gets some solid shots in, giving him the W.
I guess this could be considered revenge for Malone's last fight with Clarkson back on November 21, in which Clarkson nudged the victory.
