Newbie
Hi Everyone!!
I am new to this. I have recently discoverd the PensBurgh blog and it is awesome! I am sad that the Pens season is over and that my favorite player (Malone) will most likely not be back, but I guess as the saying goes, "time heals all wounds."
Anyway, July 1st will prove to be a very interesting day! I am actually excited about it. It will be interesting to see what Shero pulls out of his bag of tricks to help keep this team on the road to the Cup!
Is it September yet?
The content expressed in fanposts does not necessarily reflect the opinions of the staff here at Pensburgh.com. FanPosts are opinions expressed by fans of various teams throughout the league but may be more Pittsburgh-centric for obvious reasons.

I welcome you on behalf of other Pensblogians. Frank will have to welcome you on behalf of management later on.
I think we’re all excited for July 1 and September, so you’re in the right place.

PS JD – I didn’t know where else to post it, but I finally heard back from the admins on posting videos as comments. Ya can’t do it in the new version. They suggested just posting it as a fanshot and linking to it. Otherwise, loading it as a comment would have slowed down the live reload tremendously. I think in the end, I’d rather have comments load live and faster, just for the sake of an open thread.
Sorry to take so long to get back to ya, but I was just waiting to hear from them.

Ah. Well that makes sense and seems entirely reasonable. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully the NHL can figure out how to get their embed link to work as well. I couldn’t get that to embed on any site correctly.

Hi Jen, thanks for signing up. As much as it would seem Malone might MIGHT be on his way out, as you said we’ll have to wait till July 1. It seems like the Rangers are really putting some interest in Orpik as of late so it’ll be interesting to see how that pans out.
Again welcome!

This is on the free agent left wings… they seem to think Malone will stay… I really hope they are right. They list Malone as the #2 UFA this off season at left wing…

Oh
and this link seems to think that Straka will be returning to Pittsburgh!! That sounds good and all, but I’d rather keep Malone and Orpik than get Straka

Straka’s knees are shot. You see how ‘clutch’ he was for the Rangers in the Pitt/New York series? Yeah, I’d rather keep Malone – without a doubt.

I want youth before age. I know young guys make more mental errors, but old guys fall apart. (See the Atlanta Braves.)
