Hossa's agent breaks silence, says rumors way off-base
What you've been hearing might not be true at all...
"The newspaper and television reports generated so far are completely inaccurate," Winter said. "None of the information has come from the principles involved in the discussions. Ray Shero and I have not spoken with anyone about a contract, so I have no idea where the information is coming from. There is not even one basic piece of information from those reports that are true."
That's the only "new" information I noticed in this article. Everytthing else is rehashing what we already know about Malone, MAF, and Orpik.
The content expressed in fanposts does not necessarily reflect the opinions of the staff here at Pensburgh.com. FanPosts are opinions expressed by fans of various teams throughout the league but may be more Pittsburgh-centric for obvious reasons.

ya know…I wouldn’t doubt it. It’s the dead time of the year when some journalists just need to make something of nothing. That’s how Eklund at hockeybuzz makes a name for himself. Only difference is he shovels BS all season long, not just in the off-season.

Ah, the wonders of errant speculation. I’ve noticed a lot of “this news is taking place” instead of “[source] tells me that this news is taking place”. Perhaps we should have a speculation contest so they can use Pensburgh as sources for future acts of drivel. Something like “NHL moves to put ref salaries under Penguins’ salary cap.”
Bring hockey back to Louisville!
Collectively we’d run a better chance of speculating accurately than Rob Rossi it seems.
