Pittsburgh Penguins Ink Joey Mormina and Connor James to one-year deals
Joey Mormina is a defenseman and former Carolina Hurricanes prospect. He played for the River Rats last season and tallied up four goals and nine assists in 77 games.
Connor James - no stranger to the Pens, re-signs with the team. For those who may remember, his first goal came against the Islanders in February after showing up late to the game due to a call-up earlier in the day.

Anyone think
either of these 2 will play more than 10 games with the Pens this season… hell, anyone think they will play 10 games?

Probably less than 10 combined. Even still, going with what I said with the Henrich and Kemp signings from two days ago, it adds a little depth to the team. I don’t expect either to play that many games, but if there is one thing the Penguins relied on heavily this past season it was the help from within the system.
Heck, it even made full-time players out of guys like Tyler Kennedy, Kris Letang, Ty Conklin and towards the end of the season, Jeff Taffe (still unsigned FYI).
