Matt Cooke going to the first line
Cooke will be skating with Crosby and Malkin...until HCMT switches it up ten minutes in, of course.
Chris Minard will hit the second line with Staal and Sykora. Other lines are looking like Satan/Talbot/Kennedy and Bissonnette/Jeffrey/Godard (a goon line if I ever saw one).

Of course – it’s a Flyers game! Hopefully Godard and Bisonnette can keep from breaking their hands on faces, though.
Sure, it may be a rough stretch, but at least it's okay to like Jaromir Jagr again.

I trust they won’t. Unlike Fedotenko they know how to punch. Granted they might not know how to score but they know how to punch.

Ugh
Malkin and Crosby are two of the best players in the league. Therrien has to put them on different lines, so they can make four other players better. Instead of one.

Satan is fairly consitent
…even last season playing with the Isle. By far his worst season he still played 80 games and had 41 points.
He has played 79 or more games in each season after his rookie season and has 40+ points in all but rookie and sophomore seasons. This season he’s well on his way to 50+ points again. Sure he’s not a Crosby or Malkin, but at 50+ points a season makes him a viable 2nd line guy.

He’s gone 12 games without a goal and only accumulated three assists in that same span. I will admit that he did start off pretty hot, so much in fact that the papers in Pitt were saying he was on pace for 50+ goals. We all laughed at the time, hoped for the best, but now we’re just praying for a goal…
