Pens win

Sid the Kid shows why hes the best in the nhl and scores two tonight as the pens gallop to victory. Its going to be happen. Or… maybe its just wishful thinking again. Hmm…

You’d have to think at this point it’s a definite, but I don’t ever want to get ahead of myself like that, ya know?

I fell asleep in the second intermission last night. I have never fallen asleep mid-game in my life.

by AngelaMc on Jan 6, 2009 7:36 PM EST reply actions

I could fall asleep right now… but that might have more to do with cold medication than hockey.

by Dayna on Jan 6, 2009 7:37 PM EST up reply actions

You’re sick too, huh?

Sorry, I could just look it up but i assume that either of you would be able to rattle it off the top o your heads

by AngelaMc on Jan 6, 2009 7:50 PM EST up reply actions

Sorry – I have no idea.

by Dayna on Jan 6, 2009 7:54 PM EST up reply actions

I’d just round it off and say, “not good.”

Honestly though, I think I read the other dya that the Pens are 18th on the PK

There are times when I think that Malkin’s favourite part of hockey is running people over. Obviously he likes to score goals and whatnot, but I feel like he secretly just loves bowling people over.

by Dayna on Jan 6, 2009 8:14 PM EST reply actions

I’m a fan. At least he’s showing a physical side to go with the obvious skill

I’m curious Dayna, there are always, as chicks, faves. Hans Solo(sp) or Luke Skywalker, Aragorn or Legolas, McDreamy or McSteamy, Crosby or Malkin? The list does go on but what are your picks.

by AngelaMc on Jan 6, 2009 8:20 PM EST up reply actions

sorry Frank/boys, i’ve missed Dayna.

brat, I saw the link, thx. Detroit 24th? I dunno that is the one that caught my eye.

by AngelaMc on Jan 6, 2009 8:26 PM EST up reply actions

First off, Patrick Dempsey annoys me more than almost any other actor in the world so whichever one he’s not in the Mcwhatever pair is my choice. (I don’t watch Grey’s so I have no idea who’s who.)

In all honestly I try and stay away from the whole fangirl thing. I might (do) have an opinion on the Crosby/Malkin/anyone else debate, but I tend to keep them to myself because I’ve encountered more than one negative comment about female fans. Which sucks, but those comments are generally few and far between.

by Dayna on Jan 6, 2009 8:34 PM EST up reply actions

oh, damn puck bunnies, as to which i’m informed by younger pple new term I will not use, have ruined it. Sad ; (

by AngelaMc on Jan 6, 2009 8:38 PM EST up reply actions

Am I dreaming? Did we really just score.. on the power play??

by Lori on Jan 6, 2009 8:27 PM EST reply actions

Do they get their Christmas gifts yet?

by AngelaMc on Jan 6, 2009 8:29 PM EST up reply actions

hahaha, maybe if they win, they can go off present probation.

by Lori on Jan 6, 2009 8:31 PM EST reply actions

I read something today that said the Pens have to go something like 24-18 for the remainder of the season if they want a playoff berth.

My goal was to be in bed by 9:00 but I was kind of thinking we’d be losing by that point so it would be like a big relief to have an excuse to go to bed, so instead they decide to start to win.

by Dayna on Jan 6, 2009 8:50 PM EST up reply actions

I feel wimpy, when I said I feel asleep in 2nd int. last night, it was maybe 6:30-7:00 here.

by AngelaMc on Jan 6, 2009 8:53 PM EST up reply actions

I went to bed at 2am and woke up at 4:45am for work. I’ve been running on that all day.

At least you have an excuse I spent half the day in bed (although I did spend the other half coughing, which is surprisingly tiring). But it’s back to school tomorrow morning, so no more sleeping in.

by Dayna on Jan 6, 2009 8:57 PM EST up reply actions

You guys can’t go to bed knowing that the Pens might be winning their first game in 2009.

by Lori on Jan 6, 2009 8:53 PM EST reply actions

I’m up, after 13 hours of sleep last night. Dupuis out for the nigght as well, ouch, men down.
