Pensburgh League A Trade Thread
Thought this might be a decent idea for our little fantasy experiment going on.
Everyone who's played any fantasy sport before knows how hard it is to get trades done, right? Well, since we're based around this wonderful blog here, I figured that perhaps we could use the blog to send back-and-forth trade offers, and perhaps have NHL-style bidding wars, etc. If everyone likes this idea, then we could essentially use this thread or something like it as an interactive trading block. Of course, I'm basically a rank-and-file grunt here at Pensburgh, so if somebody up top like this, but can expound upon it further, that would be great. Anyway, here we go.
The content expressed in fanposts does not necessarily reflect the opinions of the staff here at Pensburgh.com. FanPosts are opinions expressed by fans of various teams throughout the league but may be more Pittsburgh-centric for obvious reasons.

Example (a real one however).
I like my goaltending situation at the moment, and I’m seeing some teams that could perhaps use a goalie. If somebody has a RW they’d like to deal for a goalie, I’d be willing to set something up. Also, I’d like to deal Mike Ribeiro for a nice return.

Sure, why not? League B can do the same if they’d like.

Gah, you nabbed Rinne.
I had a claim on him. Ah well, to the back of the waiver priority you go!

First trade is about to go through….The players were drafted in consecutive picks so I don’t think anyone will bitch about it being unfair.
Frank doesnt have the UTIL position so roster balance is gonna be important.

I was never big on Util. I finally have a league this year that uses it. Actually Mirtle’s league also uses save total and breaks up PPP into PPG and PPA.

All right, I’m really aggressively trying to shop my centers. I won’t name names, but there are some people that could use a point-per-game center. Come with offers!

I could definitely use an upgrade in the center slot, but I’m hesitant to part with any other piece. Maybe if my glorious plan to win all goaltending categories every week fails, I might consider moving MAF or Lundqvuist. Until then, it’s all about my current philosophy of madness.

If people could rec this so it sticks to the page, that would be great.
Just got a deal done. What’s everyone think of my high-profile acquisition?
