ALL PENS FANS WITH DIRECTV READ
Yeah like most of you I have DirecTv.
Which since I live in Florida this of course means that I have NHL Center Ice. Since directv cant get their contracts together and the NHL decided to place there league in the hands of comcast, I dont have versus anymore. So I was starting to get pretty pissed off. I called direct and did everything I could to try and find the game. Well i'm here to let all of you know that there is indeed to watch every single Pens game on versus in the comfort of your own home. A friend called me last night and told me about it. It's called channelsurfing.net. Try it out I watched the entire Pens game even though it wasnt on my tv. You can watch everything from NBA preseason basketball to the KHL. It's free it doesnt require any sign up and most importantly WE CAN FINALLY SEE THE FREAKIN PENS. Not a hoax or scam i'm being serious it actually works.
The content expressed in fanposts does not necessarily reflect the opinions of the staff here at Pensburgh.com. FanPosts are opinions expressed by fans of various teams throughout the league but may be more Pittsburgh-centric for obvious reasons.

This does appear to work!…
I wish I would have know this last night, I spend a good 45 minutes to just find a radio station so I could listen to it I’m watching the FLA / BUF game now, it appears almost real time with no delay.

There are other sites like that too…
just to name a few.
Procedure:
The night of the game go to any one of these sites (including the above from Pitt3639) and search for “Penguins” or “Pittsburgh”, or even “Hockey” and you should get a couple hits. Usually someone will be streaming the game.

For what it’s worth (which might easily be nothing for DirectTV viewers) here’s what Bettman had to say about the DirectTV thingy
Follow the Penguins on SBN @ Pensburgh.com and twitter.

There’s usually a link to a feed during the game night open thread, btw.

Rec’d. If we don’t have a link a viewing of the game, sometimes a commenter shares one that they found.
Also, as a last ditch, there’s always listening to the awesome Mike Lange’s radio call off of penguins.com or nhl.com. It’s not as technologically advanced, but it’s an option.
As hockey fans we’re the little guy stuck in the middle of this dispute between two very large companies…Not too much you can do until it’s resolved, and hopefully for all parties it’ll be soon.
