I hope it is the flu with TK and not something more serious.

Unfortunately I think it’s a physical injury, that’s what the Pens have seemed to hint at.

The flu is used as an excuse for a lot of things. I know he’s not the standard in terms of coaching, but in Don Cherry’s book he mentioned a lot of guys would miss a game with “the flu” when really is was a knee or ankle thing keeping them out.

Damnitalltohell!!!!
Thanks for the reminder to buy more bourbon before tonight’s game, since it looks like I may need to make my drinks stronger.
Hope he heals up quick, and everyone else can step up.

Cooke-Staal-Adams received a lot of praise during the preseason and during training camp when the Pens were experimenting with TK on the top 2 lines. I don’t think we’ll see much a difference out there. In fact, I’d love to predict that Staal will net one tonight.

never good to see TK out, but let’s hope it’s really nothing serious… and if we go into the predictions… what do you say? first goal for Kunitz or first goal for Bourque, neither or both? my money on Bourque (sorry Kuni)
You have to see it for yourself...

Great chance for Bourque..Not just any young winger gets to go from the press box straight onto a line with the reigning scoring champion.

No…I’m pretty sure Kuni will get one tonight. I’ve been ribbing him hard the last few days and he’s going to stick it to me and make me eat my words…which is fine by me.

Damn. TK’s been our best winger too.
Here’s to the team getting by without him.
