Malkin picking up the pace, may return sooner than later
Good news coming from The Post-Gazette. Geno is back on the ice practicing and taking on an extra work load in effort to get back into the swing of things. He's now listed as day to day. I'd like to think the injury to Orpik is the last for at least a little while. Now maybe we can focus on when players will return...

I certainly hope it will be the last for a while, but I also hope that Malkin is not rushed back. I would rather him be 100% and the Pens lose another game or two than to have him back early and not completely healthy.

it would be nice if he would come back on my bday (tommorow) and get a hat trick, but Ill settle for a win instead if geno doesnt make it back tommorow.
FYI im fully aware he will most likely not be returning tommorow.
Next to return? Kennedy?

Kennedy’s injury still hasn’t been diagnosed. If it is a groin injury and it’s not being diagnosed as one, I’d be a bit concerned that it’s evolved into a sports hernia or something worse.
I think the order will be Malkin – Letang – Gonchar – Talbot – Kennedy
Don’t know where Orpik falls in the mix but we also don’t know what’s wrong with him yet.

I just cant see Kennedys injury being a groin, he skated way too fast last game he played for a groin to be bothering him in my opinion, I could be wrong though.
