You’re ridiculous dude. Why you gotta be such a downer?

It’s called being realistic.
You didn’t notice after the Pens goal the Bruins have been owning them?

11 shots so far. I think the Pens look way better than any other game during this tough stretch. That was a lame goal no doubt but hardly Johnson’s fault. I think you blame Eaton there.

11 shots but the Pens have been in their zone for almost the whole period, hence my comment “Gee, what (a) shock”

Do you ever have anything optimistic to say about these guys? Don’t go handing the Cup away in November.
Sorry that I don’t talk the way people want me to around here.
I just happen to be the only one to point out the suckfest that is the Penguins right now.

There are easier ways. Unfortunately this one cost them a goal.

I love it and hate it. Love it cause they can, hate it cause they have to

I like how Dupuis didn’t force the shot. He held it, waited and launched it into the net. Well played.

If he wants to score I’ll back him. If he choked on that it would not have gone well for him

Excellent period. Pens are moving the puck, making it work. The PP is still blah but if they can beat teams even strength then I think a lot of pressure will be taken off of the PP

no doubt. and he’s working on another shutout so far tonight

wow that was a great goal. Pittsburgh shoulda had that cleared but Ryder made one hell of a play

Baby Pens are getting trained on by the bears. 2-0, John D’Aversa knocked one behind a helpless John Curry and Karl Alzner cranked one from the goalline. Aaron Boogard and Tim Wallace dropped the gloves, but got thrashed. I’ve been impressed by Ryan Bayda. Where is Eric Tangradi though. Anyway, GO BEARS and BIG PENS.

ET is injured. Think it was a shoulder thing but he’ll be back out there soon

bad breaks i guess. that injury to his hand last season was almost way more dangerous than it wound up being. Could’ve really put his career at risk if it was a little deeper/closer to nerves.

I’d imagine he feels fine physically but two weeks off from the speed of the game could take another week or so.

“another week or so to catch up..”
I meant to say before i posted too fast

weak turnovers at times. Pittsburgh hitting Boston sticks with more precision than their own sometimes.

and by the way there are two jumbotron screens worth of penalties, but that’s expected when the bears and baby pens play

NICE goal. Deflections work. More goals in this game then combined in the past three.

that was one of the best first periods the pen have had in a long time…geno has looked pretty darn good; maybe a little off at times..just a little though.
awesome deflection by sid!
and, call me technical, but how did sid not get an assist on the first goal? i could’ve sworn he deflected it with his skate to geno.
I think they review every goal after the game. There’s a chance he’ll get a point on the final scoresheet.

Wow, upon further review that was a sick save by Thomas

how many times have we seen the glass break this season?
Follow the Penguins on SBN @ Pensburgh.com and twitter.
Oh screw that. You know, Pens get the momentum and then the glass breaks. Glass gets fixed and Bruins score.
The fix is in.

Damn Geno was on fire there. Thomas stood up for it though.

2-1. Boulerice put a rebound from Vitale’s wristshot away

do you live near the WBS area? Are you really familiar with the team?
Follow the Penguins on SBN @ Pensburgh.com and twitter.
I actually live in Hershey and am a huge bears fan along with being a pens fan. When ever the baby pens come to town, I’ll usually check out the game, cause it’s always a good one. I am very familiar with the team though

That’s awesome. I’ve never been to an AHL game but I hear they’re a good time.
Follow the Penguins on SBN @ Pensburgh.com and twitter.
yeah it is. It’s a really good way to get yourself familiar with prospects of your favorite team and there’s also a lot of scoring cause the goaltending is usually young

I’ve been to an ECHL game. Kinda the same thing only you also see a ton of fights.

Bob Errey friggin loves Chris Bourque. Unreal.

Johnson looked a little slow recovering from some shots. Was gonna say something but didn’t want to jinx it
Follow the Penguins on SBN @ Pensburgh.com and twitter.
absolutely… I was thinking he’s gonna call a penalty… but no… a clap?!?
You have to see it for yourself...
One hell of a goal from Eaton. Way to make good on that post hit in the second
Follow the Penguins on SBN @ Pensburgh.com and twitter.
Crap. Horrible penalty to take. 4 minute double does not bode well.
Follow the Penguins on SBN @ Pensburgh.com and twitter.
if this one goes to OT and/or a SO, this will be the third start for Johnson where he didn’t have a game finish in regulation.
Follow the Penguins on SBN @ Pensburgh.com and twitter.
Sid with the chance to slam that home there. Damn
Follow the Penguins on SBN @ Pensburgh.com and twitter.
My bad, it’s not the crappy goal tending. Everyone gets goals from the blue line ;-)

I really think he got kinda banged up on that one stretch save earlier. He looked slow in that entire sequence and didn’t look like he was going to recover well.

Holy crap
That was insane. Ridiculous. Suck it Thomas.
If consequences dictate the course of action, then it doesn't matter what's right, it's only wrong if you get caught. If consequences dictate the course of action, then I should play God...
YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my goodness that was a FANTASTIC game.
I watched almost all of it on GameCenter Live – and it was so excellent.
0.4 seconds?!?!?!?!?
And Thomas really blew it to give us the open net FTW there.
In short,
That was awesome.
I think justice was done… the Pens absolutely didn’t deserve to lose that one
You have to see it for yourself...
gotta totally agree with you on that one…pens played their asses off
