Mark Letestu sent down to WBS
Guess this answers the question I posed earlier. The Penguins have reassigned Mark Letestu to Wilkes-Barre Scranton to open up a roster spot. That spot, of course, would seem to be an open slot for Max Talbot's return on Thursday.
Can't say I really saw enough of Letestu to make an overall judgment, but at the least he didn't cause any turnovers or miss wide-open nets to warrant any sort of negative impression. He was held pointless in only two games.
Here's the official release from the PG.

Make horrible turnovers? Miss open nets? I can’t imagine whom you are refering to?!?

That Maklin guy. Good thing he doesn’t wear a real number, but he won’t be staying up long

I thought Letestu was good. But they shielded him to very limited situations too.
Pensburgh.com -- it's like the Max Talbot of blogs*
*not just because we only work for 12 minutes a night
Letestu I thought executed what he was asked to do well. He was very good positionally and showed a little bit of offensive ability. I think he will have his time in the NHL and I couldn’t be happier for the guy, its been a long road for him to where he is now. For as long as the Pens are tying to hold out on bringing up Luca Caputi I’d expect Letestu to remain #1 on the call up list. I don’t expect Luca to be called up until its time for a permanent call up.
