Around SBN: Which Players Will Join The 3,000-Hit Club?

I was curious where the Pens stood in this department but will also admit I was too depressingly unmotivated to do the work myself. Not to mention it likely would've changed and changed again by the time I actually pooled together all the information. So we turn to Mr. Mirtle. This is why he gets paid the big bucks.

The Penguins site said Crosby wasn’t at practice today….any inside info on that?

Unfortunately I don’t have inside contacts with the team, so for the time being I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what the press says about it. Hopefully he was just taking some time off.

I beleive he missed practice because of illness. Hopefully he’ll be in the lineup…

The man-games lost to injury stat doesn't take into account who is injured

Plus, the Pens injuries seem to have happened all at the same time. It’s much easier for a team to cope with a couple forwards hurt, and maybe 1-2 d-men, but things get hard when your entire starting defensive corps goes down! I also wonder is the man-games lost to injury stat adjusted for how much playing time each player averages per game?

6 Cheetos per hour, and you either take it or leave it.
