Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Anaheim Ducks [Open Thread]
Pittsburgh Penguins at Anaheim Ducks, Nov 3, 2009 10:00 PM EST
This is the first of three on the west coast swing, and well give us a look at Chris Kunitz versus Ryan Whitney. This is their first match up against their ex-teams since last year's trade, and is a fun match up I'm looking at late tonight.
Hide your Adam Banks shirts for now, and let's go Pens!

The Ducks jerseys look like minor league.

I wasn’t crazy about it either but I’m happy I can regret an allegedly bad player doing well instead of the other way around.
Follow the Penguins on SBN @ Pensburgh.com and twitter.
He said in an interview that he likes playing here because Bylsma gives him the confidence to try to make plays — that even though scoring isn’t his main role, when he thinks he can make something happen, the team lets him go for it. He seemed really happy about it. So I think that’s a big part of what is going on with him.
The implication was that other teams haven’t allowed him to step out of his role too much. That could be why is close to having more goals in November than he did all last season.
hmmm thanks for bringing that up. I really didn’t catch any of that anywhere but it seems like he’s a pretty solid fit. I don’t care how we get the goals right now as long as we get em. But as far as I’m concerned, the second line may be the new first line…
