Anaheim & LA games

I was able to see the Pens beat the Ducks on Tuesday, but also was able to see them, for whatever reason, shove their heads up each others asses in an unnecessary loss to the Kings last night.

The one up side to the entire thing is that there were tons of Pittsburgh faithful at both games, which made me all the more home sick and hate the city I currently live in, Los Angeles. You can tell the huge difference between those who are from PA or back east in general, who aren't selfish and the biggest assholes in the universe.

Mike Lange said it best, if you think the Pens are going to win every game you are very wrong. It's not going to happen, but I trust that we will again have a good season and more importantly a great post- season.

I have some pics from both games, still working on getting them up if anyone is interested.

I hated LA too when I visited. I can’t imagine living there.

Is there really a significant number of Kings fans in LA or are they all coming out of the woodwork as of late? I’ve always felt a guy like Anze Kopitar could walk down the Strip at like, 8pm on a Saturday and no one would notice him. Except maybe the Canadians visiting for the week.

Obviously it’s not a big hockey town, especially when you have a rapist like Kobe Bryant in the city. But there are a few hockey fans. To be honest, I’m pretty sure there were tons of band wagon Crosby and Pens fans there last night too.

The games I’ve been to, I would say there are more of the visiting teams fans than Kings fans. Like everything in LA, people mainly go just to go, and say that they were out some place like that. I think the Ducks and Anaheim/Orange County has more of a following and actual fans. There are tons of rinks and leagues down there.
