Per the official website, a minor undisclosed injury will sideline Mark Eaton tonight against New Jersey. Martin Skoula, who's been a healthy scratch since December 7th, is expected to take his place in the lineup.

I was glad to hear that Bylsma doesn’t think it’s serious, especially since Eaton has a history of knee issues.

Good to plug in Martin Skoula and hopefully not miss a beat.

Fortunately, Skoula has done well for the Penguins, so I’m confident that he can step in and do a great job tonight.

I hope Eaton recovers soon… he was our survivor during the D-man curse, but I guess it finally caught up with him.

yep, after tonight we won’t have a single D-man who’s played in all games… but anyway Eaton won the Last man standing award some weeks ago:)

You have to see it for yourself...

True. The Pens have been lucky that guys like McKee and Orpik have suffered injuries but not missed too many games.

The timing was horrible with 5 defensemen going down at the same time, but given the severity of hockey injuries it could have been lot worse.

To be honest I’m beginning to sway more in your direction with that superstitious stuff Hooks. I’ve never been an overly superstitious person but at times I’ve found myself falling into the trap. So perhaps I’ll just give it the ol Hooks Orpik “F it” and test my luck.

First test right now: MAF gets a shutout tonight

Yeah but it’s New Jersey, so that’s totally a possibility.

Don’t mind me. :)
