Before tonight's game in New Jersey and before I threw on my newly acquired Crosby baby blue sweater, I watched a great documentary called Pond Hockey. It's about the culture and the origins of the great game of hockey and how you don't see kids on the ponds any more.
If you love hockey, you have to see this movie, I promise you will love it too. Unfortunately I believe you have to buy it from the website, as I haven't found it anywhere to rent or anything. But trust me it is well worth doing so. And It's full of past and present NHL and hockey greats including our very own Sidney Crosby.
I am seriously considering skipping town for a while to drive up to MN to experience some good ol' outdoor, pure hockey.
If anyone else has seen this I'd love to hear your thoughts.
