Chicago Blackhawks at Pittsburgh Penguins, Dec 5, 2009 7:30 PM EST
Boy do I wish I was at this one. Afterall, this match up last year was my first NHL game in a long time, as well as my first Pens game.
If that game was something, add Hossa to the mix, and we perfection. This game should be a lot of fun to watch, and, I promise, I will not be wearing my Jonathan Toews sweater for this one either.

I’m so stoked for this game! This is the first time all year that I have been able to watch the Penguins on my TV (I’m in Chicago with only broadcast channels).
Unfortunately that means the announcers will be prattling on endlessly about Toews instead of Crosby.

At a bears game tonight. Happy to have Borque back. He scored a goal in the first 5 minutes of the first period. Why couldn’t he have done that in Pittsburgh?

And Carcillo pulled a total dirt bag move and jumped Matt Bradley. Caps have 2 goals so far on a 9 minute PP. They have about 4 minutes left to start the second.

I was watching that game before the Pens game started… and I think there was an argument again what comes first the major or the minors? I guess it’s major-minor-minor

he checked him a bit away from the play, but it wasn’t a sucker punch by any stretch of the imagination… at least what we saw

Because I have the opposite coverage(ugh), they’re calling it that. To be honest, it wasn’t clean or anything. He threw a shot to the jaw off the play, to which I say it’s all Even Steven….ish.

to be fair the man has bee coach for 2 hrs, but I still love it. Caps pouring it on and made Emery look like the fool he is. It was quite funny hearing flyers fans at the beginning of the year thinking Emery was the answer in net ha.
Quite frankly, I dont mind if the Pens lose tonight, or atleast I wont be as mad since it is ow 7-1 Caps.
Yea maybe some players need to be let go as well…Our Favorite Flyer Danny Carcillo was at it again, he loves to lose games with his fists. Glad we traded him for BGL.
hell be suspended for quite a few I think, locked and loaded his fist and knocked out Bradley before the guy could even drop his stick.
plus I have Laich and Backstrom on my fantasy team so thats cool too.

I am pretty sick of hearing the Chicago announcers yell “WHAT A SAVE!” This goalie is killing me. It’s so frustrating.
They’re kind of annoying in general, I don’t know who they’re imitating when they’re doing ads(Hogan’s Heroes?).
At least they aren’t too biased though, i.e. Malkin duking it off the face off and Billy G defending him.
