Penguins D Philippe Boucher has left foot surgery
Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Philippe Boucher had successful surgery on his left foot Friday and will be out indefinitely.
Boucher was injured in late December and played in nine January games. He was scratched the past six games.
What!!?!? I guess I haven't been paying enough attention... I didn't even know he was hurt... Well, there goes any chance of us trading him away... not that there was much value you him anyways.
I don't expect to see Boucher in a Pens jersey again.

Frankly you’re not the only one surprised by this. I knew he was a scratch for plenty of games but I didn’t realize he’d have to have surgery done. Interesting timing when you consider Gonch is on the mend, huh?
