The Penguins had what some call a "signature win" over one of the top teams in the NHL, the San Jose Sharks. But in an 82 game schedule, if you don't exhibit some consistency it's all for naught.
The Leafs come into this game winning just 5 of 18 games in the calendar year 2009, and have won 1 out of their last five overall.
Toronto might be in 11th place in the conference and 15 points out of the playoffs, but Brian Burke has taken over and you know he's ready to make changes and everyone knows it. These guys are playing for their livelihoods and they know it.
Player to keep an eye on: Nik Antropov. "Antro" has 21 points (10 goals, 11 assists) in 25 career games against the Penguins. That's a .84 points/game average, which is much better than his .55 points/game versus the rest of the NHL.
