Goligoski - Comments by Baby Pens Teammates

Just thought these quotes were pretty cool and worth sharing..

From here

“It’s a huge addition for our power play and for our (defensive) corps[referring to having Goligoski back in WB/S],” goaltender John Curry said. “He’s a great player. He did well up there, probably deserves to be up there.

“We could talk for hours if you want to talk about that,” said Taffe. “His vision, his puck movement – He doesn’t belong here. There’s only so much I can say before they get mad at me from up top. So I think I’ll leave it at that.”

Mark my words...

Gogo will be a Pittsburgh Penguin again by weeks end. You can bank on it for the Pens are going to move Whitney this week to make room for this guy. So with Gogo and a new winger for Crosby I have a good feeling about the next 20 or so games for the Pens.

Life is about one simple choice, get busy living or get busy dying

Eaton and Whitney need to go. I don’t understand why everyone except the organization can see that Letang and Gogo should be playing instead of those two.

They both have had turnover problems, and not to mention its a big step from AHL to NHL. I like both of them and agree they should be playing, but I agree with Bylsma making the move he did with Letang. He needs to work on some things – turnovers, and getting it outta the zone instead of spinning around and getting into trouble. But all in all, I see both of them being factors on the Pens, if not the rest of this year, definately next year. And I wouldn’t mind seeing Lovejoy get some NHL time as well, I think he will be good.

I think Letang GoGo will have more prominent positions on the blue line next season. And perhaps by this time next year we’ll be pondering the same situation, only with a guy like Lovejoy on D or perhaps Wallace/Thomas on one of the wings.
