well he’s only missing out on about 3-4 shifts anyways
(I don’t understand that either, because Godard can actually skate, plus it isn’t like he takes a lot of minor penalties or is on the ice when the Pens give up goals)
True. I’d commit homicide to get three or four shifts, though. :)

Gill and the offensive dynamo known as Mark Eaton have both stepped into decent chances…I love the new philosphy/system they’re playing with now, it’s really a big reason why things are going so well.

I don’t know if he likes Friends or not, but there’s always that story from Colby Armstrong about how when him and Crosby were in their hotel room they would take naps and when they woke up the Ellen show was always on TV. Something about them dancing too! Haha
Matthew Perry’s character on the show was named Chandler Bing, but that’s got nothing to do with the Sid reference as far as I’m aware.

The Pensblog started it as far as I know…Coming from Bing Crosby the famous singer from back in the day….Even I’m so young I only recognize him from the Christmas songs.
Good updates…The Isles keep playing Peter Mannino, a former Pittsburgh Forge goalie that started the year in the ECHL. They really want Tavares, it looks like.
tavares and okposo would look pretty good to me.

I hate to ask, but how’s everyone’s brackets looking after WVU’s loss today?

I had WVU in the Elite 8—they’re usually a good tournament team. Let me down this time.
Me and my friends play that whoever comes in last has to buy a keg…No reward to the winner, just a punishment for the loser. I’m a little worried right now, a handful of my Sweet 16’s went down early.
How’s your bracket looking?
All of my losses before WVU’s were the type where I only had them winning in the first round before getting bounced in the next. So, really, aside from losing some points because of upsets (see W Kentucky, for example, beating Illinois, who looked just dreadful in that game), I was still okay. Then WVU lost, and I had them going to the E8 as well.
My consolation is that probably everyone else had them winning a few games, so while my bracket now looks bad, comparatively it won’t be uglier than anyone else’s.

Still, I’ll be pulling for Marquette and Wisconsin respectively. Marquette really misses that Dominique James led offense though.
Don’t feel bad, I feel like a tool for forgetting to fill out a Pensburgh bracket when I said I would…I hope you guys beat the pants off of Frank though :)
Aw, there was a Pensburgh bracket? Either it was only for authors or I missed it. Oh well, I got one for The Pensblog and one for Mondesi’s House that are in equally poor condition as my work one. :)

I’m in the Pensblog bracket as Hooks Orpik, currently with 18 of 24 correct (278th place).

A guy I work with is at the game, likely wearing a Penguins hat and a Kings jersey. He’s been a fan of both teams basically forever.

Well, he used to hope for a tie. Can’t do that anymore. Now he hopes for a shootout and decides then who he wants to win.

Fleury looked good in that sequence…He hasn’t been tested too much, but good to see him sharp when called upon.
