Hopefully it's starting to get better. He did skate today but mentioned he isn't in any shape to play.

Well, as I say with all groin injuries,

If it were me, I’d be out the whole effing season…my poor poor groin :(

Hopefully he’s back by next week or sooner. Be nice to get him and Kunitz gellin’

I know that every game is crucial right now, but I’d rather have Sid sit and heal rather than putting him on the ice against a team like Tampa.

Let's go Pens!

Anybody remember Jagr's problems?

Groin injuries are definitively chronic for some players, and it seems like it’s those who skate with the kind of drive that Jags used to and Sid does now. How do you strengthen a groin???

That almost sounds like the setup for a really dirty joke ;-)

Welcome, btw, to Pensburgh.

Here’s to hoping it’s not something serious like Adam Hall’s groin injury that resulted in a sports hernia last season. Or in a more recent sense, not as serious as Luongo’s injury back in October.

Apparently that’s why you are supposed to take it easy on the injury. If you push it, it becomes a sports hernia. Players like Crosby can afford to miss games. Hall on the other hand was fighting not to be scratched so he would have to try and tough out an injury.

Well hey, at this rate he can sit out the road trip. Maybe make his return next Sunday against the team he sustained the injury against?

Well the team has been playing pretty well in his stead.

Hopefully Crosby’s return is soon. I’m overly excited to see him play with Kunitz on a line!!
