So much for someone picking him up off waivers. Is it wrong to feel bad for the guy?

Go to fanshots on the right side (note, not fanposts) and upload them there. Or, if you’d like to list them all in one post (I’m cool with that) you can start up a fanpost and just link them all. Up to you.

i know this sounds dumb but I have a folder on my desktop with my pics in it, how do i upload them on fanshots when it asks for a url?? do i need to upload them on a site or something first to get a url or am i just being incompetent?

alright….i tried posting them in a fanpost. Sorry that you have to copy and paste each one to view them. I don’t normally post pics online other than facebook and it’s way easier there.

It’s not wrong, I feel bad for him also.

I linked back from the Satan story I did earlier today on Lighthouse Hockey.

i agree. he got payed a lot of money and didn’t quite live up to the expectations. he will be playing next year. he won’t be making 3.5 mill. but he’ll be playing

I wasn’t exactly referencing the wallet, although that is a pretty solid point. I meant more along the lines of realizing that his career is on the decline. Either that, or he has a lot – A LOT – of work to do this offseason.

I can’t help but think this is kinda like how Alexander Mogilny went out with the Devils…

Yeah, crazy compensation aside, seeing a guy go from hot a few years ago to the point you’d think he might rebound from injury this year to … totally out of the plans. It’s just a rough ending. I mean the whole league today said, “Actually, we’d rather not.” And his own team decides to pay him to go away while importing his former captain to replace him. Ouch.

would we have to pay him then?

by lambofgad on Mar 4, 2009 7:38 PM EST up reply actions

No. If he doesn’t report he is in breach of contract. Then, the Pens don’t have to pay him, and no other team can pick him up till he makes up the missed time and honors the contract. It is in his best interest – if he doesn’t want to retire – to play in Wilkes-Barre for the remainder of the season and move on during the off season. Perhaps he can log a lot of minutes in the KHL.

with the KHL prolly goin belly up in the next few years, days or minutes its morethan likely in his interest to play with WBS
