My shrine

PensKorn6687's shrine motivated me to toss up pictures of my own. It's not so much a shrine as it is a collection scattered throughout the house, but check em out anyways...

For starters the Mario Collection. I also have a Francis and Jagr collection, but that was pretty high up in the closet and buried underneath a vast collection of baseball cards.

A Jagr autograph that I received as a gift...

The jerseys. Lemieux's old school Pittsburgh jersey was the first one, and the rest just went from there. The ones at the top are not player jerseys. Just regular ol sweaters...

One of the walls in my "study." And yes, that's Joe Namath to the right. The native Pennsylvanian fits in with the Pittsburgh crowd as far as I'm concerned.

A mini-shrine as part of my entertainment unit, complete with a pic of my sister and I in front of the boards at Mellon. The Crosby 'C' was the door giveaway for the 2007/08 home opener. All the way in the back is a Crosby Zamboni...

I am lucky enough to have a wife that let’s (god I hate saying she let’s me do stuff) me have a room of my own to dedicate to my sports memorabilia. I’ll get some pics once I paint the walls Pittsburgh Gold (yellow) this summer. It is not all Pens, but it is almost all Pittsburgh Sports.

Are you going to alternate the colors between black and gold, or go all gold?

“Lets” is a very interesting word when it comes to relationships. Although I’m not married, I never use the word with the girlfriend unless it’s used in any phrase that doesn’t signify a permission. “Let’s go the movies” is fine by me. “My girlfriend lets me watch hockey” is not.

i wish i was lucky enough to live close to Pittsburgh, but unfortunately i am not. but last year when the pens came to my neck of the woods to play the oilers i wanted to go but couldn’t fine tickets her mom leaked to me that she was going to get me tickets to the game on ebay. where nose bleeds were going for like $400-$500 a pair or something just as crazy. but i talked her out of it unfortunately. i usually go to the battle of alberta games with her to cheer the flames to annoy her because shes and Edmonton fan. and my collection is no where nice as yours. a couple of pens jerseys from when i was a kid that i can no longer wear and some mario and jagr hockey cards. but the pride is there.

Those cards were all purchased years ago with money I got from cutting lawns. It’s been a while since I bought any cards. I’ve kinda graduated into the hockey pucks and plaque collection.

same. i have the top right one. wear it for floor hockey all the time. i’m still looking for a adult version for the one i had as a kid. the one with just penguins on the from horizontally. can’t find it anywhere. if you know a place i can fine it lmk.

You mean the one that spells out Pittsburgh? It’ll be hard to find that one. That’s what the Lemieux jersey is and if I remember correctly my parents had it custom made for me when I was 8 or 9.
