"Like every kid growing up, you play street hockey, you play in the outdoor rinks and you always dream of that opportunity. I've watched Game 7 on television and you dream of making it to the NHL, but playing in a Game 7 is something you dream about. We've got an amazing opportunity here."

Amen! They need to take this opportunity, play smart, focused like they did in Game 6 and the burgh could have two title teams (which is the grumbling I heard at the gym – I don’t want them to have two….)

I think all the statistical analysis on the past, or trends from previous games in this series are now moot because we have now reached Game 7.

Game 7 is a mythical event that can raise the level of talent to legendary status. Those who have the privilege of participating in such an event find themselves spurred on by the concept that once this game is over, there is no tomorrow. The season is done, win or lose. No one wants to lose in Game 7, everyone wants to win. This one is “for all the marbles” and we will see who truly wants to sacrifice it all in order to grip the cherished prize at the end.

"Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force; like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action." - George Washington
