I am so happy for the Penguins to win the Stanley Cup, in Game 7 on the road. That's pretty major. To me, the best part of this whole thing is that Sidney Crosby has won a Cup before Ovechkin, and Marian Hossa still didn't. The whole team did an awesome job, and I am proud of them all. As a Lightning fan by defualt, I'm a Penguins fan by choice, and I wish I could've been either in Pittsburgh celebrating with people all the fans, or I wish I was in Detriot fo Game 7. I also wish I could've been at the parade today, but living in Florida currently makes that difficult. I am also ecstatic for Ruslan Fedotenko for winning his 2nd Stanley Cup in 5 years, and 5 days from the previous one. Max Talbot was sensational for Game 7, stepping up and getting the two goals, but in my eyes, Marc-Andre Fleury is the hero for coming back from a 5-0 loss in Game 5 to only let one get by him in Game 7 to help his team to the victory that the fans of this team, and the city has missed for 17 years. The whole team deserves a few pats on the back for stepping up to help get them to the well deserved victory when their captain went down after a nasty hit.
To the 2009 Stanley Cup Champions, Congratulations and I hope that you will bring us another victory soon!
