"I told him not to worry about it. A goalie is going to be upset in that situation and that's just the competitor in him. The reality is he didn't get a lot of help either, and there's nothing to be mad about. We need him to bounce back the next game and we need to be at our best. But we know Marc-Andre will bounce back."

Hey Chris Kunitz, have fun watching game 6 in the press box
stop by Waving the Wheat (http://wavingthewheat.wordpress.com/) and The College Hockey Blog (http://thecollegehockeyblog.wordpress.com/)
I think MAF should start the next game, and should only be pulled if another game like this (god forbid) happens. It was not his fault that we lost this game — the skaters did nothing but take penalties and scored zero goals. But Fleury needed to be better, his job was to keep us in this game despite facing power plays and pressure, and he let five shots get through… so it was fair to pull him last night.
He is good at coming back in situations like this, especially in playoffs, and I think an angry and determined Fleury is exactly what we need in Game 6. I believe he can come back and do a great job for us.
the first goal was a bad goal, definitely. but the next three were not his fault. dumb penalties, being screened terribly, little help from the defense. every time i see him in a tough situation, my heart goes out to him. its easy to run around the rink like every one else, but think about it, he constantly gets bullied in the net. i really feel bad for the guy.
lets go MAF!
14 down, 2 to go. Let's go Pens!
it was like open shoot out on the man, pitt’s chances on osgood were not nearly as wide open as detroits looks.
Might have something to do with playing nearly a third of the game shorthanded. 18 Penalty minutes to Detroit’s 4. That’ not even including the 40 minutes worth of misconducts that were dished out near the end. At some point for the Pens last night, the horses got away from the carriage and they weren’t coming back. They were just completely out of control for the entire 2nd and 3rd periods. Any analysis that attempts to steer deeper than that statement is moot.
