TSN has a great list of the players still available on the market. The link above brings you to the East. Here's who's left in the West. Any guys you feel would be a good fit in Pitt?

Francois Beauchemin would be a good fit with the Pens. Would give us that 6th NHL D-man and a good one at that.

Sad to see The Piece leave, but it happens to all championship teams, guys come and go, the trick is to keep winning with the new guys.

Beauchemin wants (and will get) more than the Pens can handle….And I think he’d be much, much more than a #6 on this team.

I’ve heard an interet for Jay McKee who would definetely fit the bill for Scuderi. I think his salary was 2.5, so if we could get him for 2 years at 2.5 could that work?

For forwards, obviously Fedotenko would be the best case. I’ve heard Kotalik as a possibility.

Has anyone heard anything on Mickael Sammuelson. (sp?)

chelios and kotalik would fit nicely under the cap, sabourin is available probably for cheap.

Dany Sabs was a huge pile of fail for the Penguins. He’s a good guy, but not the right backup goalie.

I’d rather just bring Curry up and play him.

I’d like to see the Pens make a run for Nick Boynton….He is a solid player and might be willing to take a 1 year deal in order to boost his stock around the league for next year.

Maksim Afinogenov could be had for cheap in the same sort of career rebirth vein as we got Sykora.
