I guess I’m just desperate for some action again. Pens fans have been spoiled with shorter offseasons these past two seasons. Perhaps I’m just being a brat.

I don’t mind chatting it up a bit about these stories and such but people round these parts are awfully quiet lately. I’ll just consistently toss things out there though and maybe something will click.

I think the interview with the cabbie Kane had the altercation with is pretty depressing. If Kane came up to me and said “Do you know who I am?” I’m pretty sure I’d flip my S.

Eh, there’s bound to be a lot of let down after a Stanley Cup win, Frank. After all, we probably would gave been bitter and angry, and would have had a lot more fan-related diatribes to let loose if this didn’t happen:

curious as to when the masses will return

Obviously the playoffs brought a big surge your way, wondering whether any significant portion of that will be here when the season starts, or trickle in as the season goes along.

Me, I’m starting to get over the way the season ended…it’s nice to root for a team that does have a shot every year, innit?

Eh I guess that was expected a bit, given the success of the team this yr. But I think I have a pretty good idea of who will be around for the daily beat once the season gets under way.

LOL it has been the “dead period” for college football for alot longer. Drives everyone crazy. The cabbie that Kane choked….wow, NHL’s Letrell Sprewell…..NOT good. What sanctions do you think come down in Kane?

I think he’ll get some sort of suspension to kick off the season. That is, if he’s proven guilty. I don’t know if there’s any sort of reformation program for players that act out of line and such, but I’d imagine he’ll be placed in some sort of community service thing or at the least fined. We’ll see.

This offseason is killing me… i’m running out of things to do to keep me busy until hockey season starts. My boy had hockey camp last week, walking into the rink, the smell, the chill, it was a tease. Thanks for helping me keep occupied : )

I’ve been watching and rewatching the playoffs on the NHL Network. It makes for good background noise when I’m cooking and whatnot. I didn’t realize how good some of those west coast games were that I didn’t give a crap about at the time.
