While the Bruins and Flyers were getting things going up at Fenway Park this morning, the Penguins were holding a morning practice. Unfortunately, Sergei Gonchar didn't stay for long.
From what little information I'm getting from the Tribune-Review, it doesn't seem like Gonch was hurt in practice but instead still a bit dinged up from the shot he blocked against NJ Wednesday night:
Penguins defenseman Sergei Gonchar, who blocked a shot with his foot two days ago in New Jersey, left Penguins practice after 15 minutes today at Southpointe.
He looked uncomfortable while skating and did not participate in any drills.
Looks like Gonchar's status this weekend will be questionable for the back-to-backs in Florida.
