I can't say enough how stoked I am for Alexander Pechurski. He played one hell of a game last night, especially under ridiculous circumstances: he played Friday, the night before, got showered, slept a tiny bit, hopped on a plane and arrive in Vancouver at 10 am (I know, Washington to Vancouver isn't that far, but would you sleep if you just got called up?) and then he had to use MAF pads.
I think he showed a lot last night, like making great saves and great confidence by coming out and show some puck handling skills. I hope this kid gets some more looks, and again, big props to Pechurski. Cheers, kid.
