What a special night (er, afternoon) with Tanger picking up his 100th career point and Sid getting his 200th (and 201st) goal.  I think we all felt the Flames were a team the Pens should beat pretty convincingly, but it doesn't make it any less satisfying watching them do just that.

Knitting Lady and I wrapped up our second year of post-Thanksgiving, back-to-back games and we are loving this tradition.  Please, Mr Schedule Maker, hook us up with another Friday-Saturday combo next year.

Calgary scored one late in the game.  Beej lost the shutout bid, but on the bright side it cut the lead to 2 goals and gave Calgary a reason to pull the goalie in the final minute.  This resulted in Sid's 201st goal and his 3rd straight "Saturday after Thanksgiving" hat trick.  Also, this was another giveaway night (day) hat trick as each fan received a scratch off ticket from the PA Lottery.
