So I was checking out some NHL news on yahoo and came across a story talking about Cullen being traded to the Senators and Cheechoo being put on waivers by the Senators. I don't know exactly how waivers work in the NHL but I would assume their somewhat similar to the NFL. Do you think it would be a smart move for the Penguins to try and sign Cheechoo? He's been a bit disappointing this year but has been a 50+ goal scorer before in his career. I know the Penguins won't want to shell out a whole lot of money for him but I would have to think he would come relatively cheap after his rather underwhelming play this year.
