Obviously HCDB is happy with his new 2nd line format so he needed a 4th line winger and got it in Wallace
You have to see it for yourself...
I’m really starting to wonder why the team is ignoring Lovejoy this way. He’s clearly better than Skoula and probably better than a couple of the other guys on the big team as well. Is it because of Lovejoy’s waiver status?
I was wondering this same thing, and perhaps its because GMRS doesn’t want to have 8 D men to be on the cap, or he thinks that Skoula might get picked up on waivers and thus we have to pay some portion of his salary (does it go against the cap? I honestly don’t know).
I think its a bit of a shell game now, with RS gearing up for some sort of trade, and he needs the most cap space he can have.
Maybe after the Oly break we’ll see more Lovejoy and less Skoula, or maybe HCDB is willing to let Skoula redeem himself…

Don’t think waivers are the reason for Lovejoy….I think it’s that he’s 7th on the depth chart right now so he’s not going to play if everyone’s healthy like they are now. Cap reasons. Why they haven’t waived Skoula if they don’t intend to use him again is beyond me though….They must still think maybe he’s salvagable.
