Mid-week link roundup

Run by the Director of Media Technology for the Pens, this new blog is going to be a must read.  Here's an update on some of the bells and whistles of the new arena. [Backteching]

The Penguins are looking for their first win against the New Jersey Devils tonight, in their six attempt. [Penguins.com]

Will this Devils game plus the "fight night" possibility in Boston bind the Pens like last season when their comradery helped spur their post-season success?  Couldn't hurt. [Tribune Review]

Pens Universe interviews Mark Letestu, who seems to be a pretty good guy. [Pens Universe]

A look at the WB/S Pens stretch schedule and a hopeful update on Eric Tangradi who may be close to returning from a concussion [Penguins Insider]

Big ups to a smart and awesome guy Stoosh who officially joins the crowded list of online bloggers that steal ideas and talking points before I think of them, err, Penguins blogosphere.  Best of luck, Stoosh, and look forward to your thoughts on the main page. [The Pensblog]

Jersey fouls that simaltenously make you laugh and your head hurt. [Puck Daddy]

Paul Kukla (Of his Korner and Red Wings fan) predicts a Penguins v. Canucks Stanley Cup final this season. [The Goal Crease]

Tyler Seguin may have upseated highly touted Taylor Hall as the best draft ready prospect for 2010.  Seems like a lifetime ago that Penguins fans new all the details of the top prospect's in the next draft class, but now it's a foreign language. Enjoyable.  [P. Diddy]

Bill Guerin flatly stated that a hit like Matt Cooke on Marc Savard should be a suspendable offense.  Is this creating friction in the room? [Post-Gazette]

Sidney Crosby's once missing GWG puck from the gold medal game is going to the Hockey Hall of Fame. [CP]

It's not really clear though where the puck went from the time Crosby scored until now, though. [NY Times]

This is a couple days old but didn't get much play, so it might be new to you.  Still, I defy you not to read this story about the Nashville Predators and not feel a little bit better about yourself and humanity. [The Tennessean

And finally...SB Nation's Minnesota affiliate gives their congratulations to former Wild and Penguin defenseman Martin Skoula, who's recently become a new father for the second time. [Hockey Wilderness]

Totally random but, I have to throw a shout out to Dylan Reese, USC boy, scoring his first career NHL goal last night. He always gets left out of the mix when in comes to talking about Pittsburghers in the NHL.
