2010 Draft- LA Residents

So the 2010 Entry Draft is June 25-26 in Los Angeles. Seeing as I'm right down the street, I was thinking about getting tickets or whatever and checking it out. Anyone else, either in LA or outside, considering going too? Has anyone ever been, is it even worth attending? Let me know if you have any opinions, thoughts, stories if you went to a Draft, etc. I know a lot of people go to like the NHL draft and NBA. Let me know.

The content expressed in fanposts does not necessarily reflect the opinions of the staff here at Pensburgh.com. FanPosts are opinions expressed by fans of various teams throughout the league but may be more Pittsburgh-centric for obvious reasons.

I'm from LA

and I’ll probably be home from school by then. I’ve never been to a draft of any sort, but I would be interested in going. How much are/where do you find tickets?

I don’t know where to get tickets yet, I’m assuming Ticker Master or though Staples Center. Still seeing if I should go or not, and can go at that.

I went and covered it last year up in Montreal. Good times fo sho. Players are very accessible, as is team management and the like. If you know a coach is on hand, or maybe a player turned scout for the team (Kevin Stevens for example), they’re more than willing to sign an 8×10 or card for the fan hanging over the side.

I may or may not be out there again this season. Haven’t figured that part out yet.
