Don't get me wrong. I'm as big a fan as they come. But this may be a bit too much for me.

I’ve gotten a few pieces of Penguins barware since starting my blog (of course), and thought that was a little much. This, well, crosses over my threshold, too!

That would look great on my kitchen counter

Wow, little much i think. Why would you wanna eat your favorite team’s logo? I’d much rather rabidly devour a rivals logo, muahahahaha!

Yeah much better. Doesn’t it make more sense? I mean you turn your most hated rival into toast and chew them up and spit them out if you so choose :)

Yeah, plus as AronV mentioned, who wants to see the Pens get toasted?

my wife would kill me… I have enough Pens glasses and even a 3foot tall Crosby bobblehead, but this would put her over the edge

a 3 foot tall bobble-head? I’ve never heard of one that big.

i don’t like associating my team with the word toast. It has a bad connotation.

So. Frank, if you had a choice between a year’s supply of City of Champions cereal or that toaster, which would it be?

He won’t admit it, but sometimes-commenter jevans wants one. In fact, he wants 5.

by JustinM on Mar 19, 2010 6:32 PM EDT reply actions

I totally want one of these. But I don’t actually toast bread. Do you think it would work on a pop tart?

by Cari on Mar 19, 2010 8:39 PM EDT reply actions

Honestly, Cari, my guess is it probably doesn’t work very well on bread.

For the record, if the Penguins somehow gain the most fighting PIMs for the season, you all have to buy me one.

The “Pens are toast” part should be enough to put a fan off… but seeing as I don’t have any pens memorabilia… I’d take anything :p
How much is it? Haha

I don't know what to think about this

On one hand, Pens toast sounds pretty cool. On the other, it seems like the product wasn’t thought out very well (that is, with the idea of “fan friendly” being in mind).
The whole Pens are toast thing makes me not want it.
